About the game

What you do in a play session

Arena: The Contest – Tanares Villain Pack is the expansion that brings a new level of ferocity to the already exciting miniatures combat of Arena. In Tanares, the legendary city where dragons and villains lurk, players clash in epic battles using miniatures and villain cards that unlock unique abilities. Each villain comes with an Overlord Card that provides battle instructions, special powers, and stats that change the battlefield dynamics. The expansion adds six new villains, each with attack cards and bonuses that require different strategies. Additionally, the set introduces the Kordal class, the Juggernaut, which serves as a special hero. Kordal can summon goblins onto the battlefield, bringing two goblin miniatures into play. The bundle also includes a set of programmed movement mechanics, dice rolling, grid movement and movement points, as well as a player elimination system that raises the stakes. The modular board allows players to create dynamic scenarios, while the action queue enables tactical planning. Ideal for fans of medieval fantasy who enjoy cooperative and strategic combat games, Arena: The Contest – Tanares Villain Pack delivers hours of fun with challenges that vary depending on the chosen villain. If you love miniatures battles with a lot of strategy and want to deepen the Arena experience, this expansion is a must‑have.
