About the game
What you do in a play session
Prepare to dive headfirst into cosmic horror with "A Thousand Shapes of Horror," a Mythos Pack expanding "The Dream-Eaters" campaign for Arkham Horror: The Card Game. This time, things are serious: half your team is trapped in the Dreamlands, and the only way out is to force your way in physically. Forget dream journeys, because this endeavor is dangerously wild, but it might be the only chance to save everyone and prevent yourself from becoming a permanent resident of this bizarre place. To enter this world, however, a key is needed. "A Thousand Shapes of Horror" is the second act (2-B) of "The Web of Dreams" campaign and can be played solo or integrated with other expansions in the cycle, forming longer four or even eight-part campaigns. Inspired by H.P. Lovecraft's short story "The Unnamable," this scenario takes you to the darkest corners of Arkham, where reality distorts and sanity is tested to its limit. Do you have what it takes to face indescribable horrors and keep your head straight, or will the abyss of madness swallow you? Oh, and a heads-up: the game requires a lot of reading in English, so have your dictionary ready or a translation handy!
