About the game
What you do in a play session
You return from the jungles of southern Mexico with an artifact that looks like the find of a lifetime, only for a mysterious visitor to burst in and claim the object is tied to a global threat. Suddenly you have three simultaneous missions: safeguard the relic, locate a missing friend, and decide whether you can trust the enigmatic guest. The "Threads of Fate" Mythos Pack kicks off the Forgotten Age cycle and introduces a fresh scenario design—three Act decks run concurrently, forcing the team to split focus among scarce clues while a ticking clock looms. Every decision—what lead to chase, which action to prioritize—leaves a permanent mark on the campaign, reshaping future encounters and outcomes. The pack contains 60 standard‑size cards (22 character abilities and 38 scenario/encounter cards) plus a rules sheet that integrates with the base game. If you love deep investigations, meaningful choices, and Arkham’s trademark dread, this expansion adds extra tension and replay value, though it demands careful reading and a decent time investment. Perfect for players already comfortable with the system who want to deepen the Forgotten Age narrative.
