About the game

What you do in a play session

ATTACTIX is a two-player combat card game where surprise and anticipation are everything! Each duelist starts with the same 8 attacks in their deck and 30 life points. Every turn, players secretly choose a card and reveal it simultaneously, like a Wild West duel, but with six-sided dice to resolve attacks. The cards have very distinct effects: 'Swift Strike' hits first, before almost everything except 'Parry'. 'Block' completely nullifies any damage. 'Parry' is a masterstroke: it steals a die from the opponent's attack roll and deals its face value directly back to their life, even intercepting a 'Swift Strike'. 'Power Charge' allows you to visibly accumulate dice, like a ticking time bomb. And 'Final Assault' is the ultimate blow: roll a D6 and triple the result, a powerful attack your opponent sees coming and can try to counter. Played cards remain face-up, turning each 8-card cycle into a memory and bluffing game. You can know exactly which answers your opponent still holds. When all 8 cards are used, players collect them and start a new cycle, with life totals carrying over until someone hits zero.
