Alright, detective! Ready for a mystery that will truly test your wits? In Awkward Guests: The Walton Case, you're called upon to solve the murder of Mr. Walton, and the best part is that every game is a completely fresh puzzle. Thanks to the innovative Brilliant Deck system, the circumstances of the crime change with each playthrough, ensuring infinite replayability. Forget the clichés; this is serious business: you'll need genuine detective skills to interrogate suspects, question the household staff, scour the crime scene for clues, and analyze police reports. All while trying to extract information from your opponents or, strategically, concealing your own. The game is a race to discover who killed Mr. Walton, how he was murdered, and what the motive behind the crime was. Oh, and there's more: was there an accomplice? At the heart of Awkward Guests, each player starts with six cards in hand. Each card has a value (1, 2, or 3 points, depending on the amount of information it reveals) and references to elements of the case. On your turn, you can ask for information about two specific references. Other players can offer you cards containing those references, and you can trade them for cards from your hand, matching the point value. At the end of each round, players have a chance to try and solve the mystery. If no one gets it right, they discard part of their hand and draw three new cards. The first player (or players) to crack the case wins! It's a constant challenge of logic, bluffing, and keen observation.
