What you do in a play session

Get ready for a pasture dispute in Battle Sheep! This quick and strategic little game puts you in charge of a flock of sheep with a single objective: to dominate the largest patch of grass possible. The board setup is super simple, using modular hexagon tiles that you put together to create a unique battlefield each game. Each player starts with a stack of sheep on one of the edges. On your turn, you take a portion of your sheep stack, leave at least one behind (so you don't end up with nothing!), and move the rest in a straight line, as far as you can, to occupy a new hexagon. The trick is that when you move, you leave a new stack behind, which can be used by you (or your opponent!) in future turns. As the game progresses, the board gets crowded, the sheep multiply, and movement options drastically decrease. It's an 'Enclosure' game with a touch of 'Grid Movement' that requires planning and anticipation. Whoever manages to spread their sheep and occupy the most spaces at the end wins. Perfect for those looking for an abstract, fast-paced experience full of unexpected twists, with a cute animal theme.
