Battlecrest: Expansion Collection #5 brings two fresh heroes to spice up your tactical skirmishes: Dowdran, the undead pyromaniac who loves to watch the world burn with his Heat Wave, and Thrasher, the powerhouse athlete who uses double crests to deliver a punch of impact. In addition to the hero variety, the expansion offers a brand‑new solo AI for Imperator, usable on its own or in combination with the earlier two Imperator releases. Imperator III introduces a more cautious and mobile playstyle, with cards that require refocus at the start of the turn, forcing players to be more shrewd to catch Imperator off guard. With extra components such as health trackers, action cards, and hero card sets, the expansion keeps the game pace brisk—about 20 minutes per session—and still supports solo or 3‑to‑4‑player team games. If you enjoy deep strategy, board mobility, and testing new tactics with unique heroes, this expansion will get you pumped.
