About the game
What you do in a play session
Battlecrest: Imperator – Solo Expansion brings solo play to the tactical card skirmish game Battlecrest, letting any hero face another using solo command cards and AI rules. The Neververse setting remains with dynamic 6‑card maps and unique tactics for each character. Each hero consists of six cards: a hero card, a health tracker, and four action cards that can be swapped for minions or items. The board, also made of six cards, is randomly arranged in a defined pattern, creating a combat environment that changes with each game. Players take turns moving their characters on a square grid, using action cards to attack, defend, or manipulate the battlefield. Hand management is key, as each card has an energy cost that replenishes at the end of each turn. The expansion introduces six solo command cards, each with a specific goal, allowing the player to face a virtual opponent with its own rules. The game keeps its simple rule set but offers strategic depth through varied tactics and interaction with the modular board. Ideal for those who already know Battlecrest and want to test their skill against a virtual foe, the expansion delivers hours of tactical combat in a compact, accessible format.
