About the game
Get your heart racing and grab your Halloween mask, because the Boogeyman is here to turn your night of mischief into a total nightmare! Picture this: it's October 31, 1987, and a group of kids, split into neighborhood gangs, decided the best way to celebrate Halloween was to compete for the title of Master of Mischief. The plan was simple: pull some pranks, cause a little harmless vandalism, and prove who truly owns the streets. But, just like in every classic horror movie, things went south very quickly.

What started as a brave competition between masked kids ended in the worst possible way: they discovered that the Boogeyman isn't just a legend used to scare disobedient children into behaving—he is real, he is hungry, and he is lurking in the shadows! In this game, you lead one of these kid gangs. To win, you'll need to strategically use your Mischief cards to compete for Neighbor cards, which are your ticket to glory (and points). But don't get too comfortable: while you want to be the best, the danger is shared. The game features a tense semi-cooperative element where everyone must stay sharp, because the ultimate goal is quite urgent: you must be the first to successfully trap the Boogeyman himself before he finishes his grim business!

Blending hand management, fast-paced auctions, and a dash of dice-rolling luck, Boogeyman is a dynamic experience that ramps up the tension as the night progresses. It is perfect for players who enjoy quick games with strong themes that can balance fierce competition between friends with the shared necessity of dealing with a common threat. Are you ready to face the legend, or will you stay hiding under the covers?
