About the game

What you do in a play session

Ever looked at a bizarre situation and thought, 'How on earth did that happen?'. That's exactly the spirit of White Stories! If you're already familiar with the Black Stories series, you know the drill, but here the vibe is slightly different. Instead of brutal crimes and macabre crime scenes, we dive into a world of supernatural mysteries. We're talking about ghosts, apparitions, witches, and phantoms that will challenge your group's logic.

The dynamic is simple and addictive: one player takes the role of the mystery master. They read the solution to a riddle (the 'weird' part of the story), and the other players must reconstruct the events. The only catch is that the master can only answer with 'Yes', 'No', or 'Irrelevant'. This forces the group to think outside the box, ask creative questions, and connect dots that seem impossible at first glance.

It's the perfect game to fill those dead moments: on road trips, waiting at restaurants, or at that gathering of friends where everyone wants to interact without needing a giant board or 50-page manuals. Since it's focused on lateral deduction, it stimulates imagination and sparks funny discussions as you try to figure out what that ghost was actually doing. It's light, quick to start, and can last as long as the group's curiosity allows. If you love a mysterious atmosphere but prefer something more 'strange and supernatural' than 'bloody', White Stories is the right choice to get the party going.
