About the game
What you do in a play session
The first phase is the 'Movie Buzzer Battle'. Two teams are given a topic, such as 'Movies with dogs'. One player starts the 15-second timer, shouts out a relevant movie, and hits the buzzer to reset the time. The ball is then in the other team's court, who must do the same. Whoever fails to think of a movie before time runs out gives the advantage to the opposing team, who takes control of the next round.
The second phase is 'Triple Charades Jeopardy'. Here, the team that gained the advantage chooses a movie, and one of its members will have to make the others guess it. But it's not just charades! You can act it out, use only a keyword, or quote an iconic line from the movie. Strategy is crucial, and stealing points from opponents is totally allowed and encouraged. With guaranteed laughter and moments of pure cinematic nostalgia, Blockbuster is the perfect choice to liven up any gathering.
