Bongo Kongo is an action‑dexterity game that seats up to four players next to colorful monkeys. Each player picks a monkey and presses the colored button behind it, making the animal lean forward to hit the back panel of Bongo Kongo's rotating backpack. When the panel is struck, a "coconut" drops into the player's collection pit. The goal is straightforward: gather the most coconuts before the backpack runs out. The twist is the big club that Bongo Kongo swings back and forth; if it hits your monkey, the animal is knocked off the stump and you’re out of the game. A typical round lasts about ten minutes, making it perfect for quick sessions or as a warm‑up before longer board games. The components are bright and tactile – plastic monkeys, push‑buttons, a rotating backpack and marbles that act as coconuts – and everything works intuitively, so the game is accessible to kids as young as four and adults who enjoy a bit of physical excitement.
