The German objective is clear: cross Belgium as quickly as possible, destroying the forts at Liège and Namur, and if you can do it faster than historically occurred, it's game over – a German victory! If it takes too long, it's a draw or an Allied win. The Allies, on the other hand, aim to delay the advance at all costs. The game is quick-playing, uses a point-to-point map, and a chit-pull mechanism. Each turn represents three days, and you'll draw chits to activate generals and armies, moving and battling. There are even event chits that can help you or hinder your opponent. It's a tense simulation of the start of the conflict on the Western Front, taking place between August 4th and 27th, 1914.
