About the game

What you do in a play session

Listen up, everyone! In Brink, we step into the shoes of the Moonrakers, who've broken free from the Utopian Alliance but now need to find their own path and stay independent. Things are tense: forming alliances, dealing with factions, and exploring the unknown in search of resources and power. Each game is a new adventure, with a map that unfolds differently, forcing you to devise new strategies with every move. It's a worker placement game, but with a special twist: you use ships of three different sizes to occupy hexes that grant you resources, actions, and, most importantly, power within specific factions. At the end of each round, everyone votes on which faction will score, and whoever has the most 'power' in that color comes out on top. Get ready to upgrade your ships, hire ambassadors, explore new systems, and spend influence to complete objectives that grant you new abilities. The goal is to accumulate the most prestige points in three rounds. Brink blends strategic planning of your moves with the negotiation and 'above-the-table' interaction that we already enjoy in other games from the Moonrakers universe. It's for those who like to think, negotiate, and venture through space!
