About the game
What you do in a play session
Get ready for a splash of color and strategy with Butterfly Garden! Inspired by classics like Metro and Tsuro, this tile-laying game invites you to build vibrant paths on the board. The key twist here is that no one owns any path; everyone builds, and everyone benefits. Your main goal? To guide colorful butterflies from a central point to your designated flowerbeds. Each tile you place can make a butterfly fly along the newly created path, revealing where it can go next. This avoids the headache of having to plan complete routes all at once. But beware! If a butterfly encounters another along the path, both disappear from the game. If a butterfly reaches a flowerbed exclusively yours, it's yours. If it's a shared flowerbed, each player takes one. The game ends when all butterflies have been claimed, and whoever has the most points (depending on the butterfly's color) wins. It's a quick, visually appealing game with a touch of tactics that appeals to both newcomers and veterans.
