About the game
Get ready for a brainy showdown in Cardinals, an abstract strategy game with a war theme, perfect for two players or even two teams of two. The intense struggle is for dominance over three crucial cities at the center of the board. Each side consists of two houses vying for control, and victory goes to the faction that manages to hold at least two of the three cities long enough to consolidate its hegemony. But don't think it's just about deploying your troops and fighting! Open conflict is only part of the challenge. While some information is visible to everyone, other elements remain hidden, creating room for audacious bluffing, sharp deduction, and mind games that will test your ability to read your opponent. You might even think you know what your opponent is planning, but appearances can be deceiving, and greatly so! Each turn, more units are sent to the battlefield, some of them hidden and others fully visible. This dynamic is key to predicting your rival's moves, as a specific warrior can be super powerful against certain units, but at the same time, incredibly vulnerable against others. It's a true tug-of-war where intelligence and adaptability are your greatest weapons.
