About the game
You know that quick game you can explain in thirty seconds and everyone is already playing? Cardline: Animals is exactly that, but with a 'do I really know these animals?' twist that makes everything much more fun. The concept is brilliantly simple: you receive a hand of animal cards and the goal is to arrange them in an increasing line, but there's a catch: you must decide before starting which attribute you'll compare. Are we measuring length, weight, or lifespan? This choice completely changes the round's dynamic!

To start, each player places a few cards on the table with the data hidden, creating a small personal tableau. One central card is flipped face-up to serve as a reference. On your turn, you choose a card from your hand and try to slot it between two cards already on the table. But watch out: you can only reveal the value (whether it's weight, size, or lifespan) if you are certain it fits perfectly in the numerical order between the adjacent cards. If you're right, the card stays on the table and you're one step closer to victory. If you're wrong, the card goes back to your pile and you must draw another one to keep trying. It's a game of deduction and constant visual memory.

The competitive tension ramps up quickly as the animal line grows and the placement options become increasingly scarce and harder to guess. The first player to empty their hand by correctly placing all their animals wins the game. If there's a tie in the same turn, players enter a tie-breaker round to see who is the true zoology master. It's the perfect game to take on trips, play with the family, or spice up the downtime between heavier board games.
