Carrossel, released in 2019 by LongPack Games, brings a literal “carousel” concept: the board spins each round, and players line up on the side that becomes theirs. Up to four players can join, and the goal is simple: sell the most tickets before the day ends. Each player receives a set of carousel cards numbered 1 to 12 and a pile of tiles in four colors, plus two wild tiles. At the start of each turn, everyone simultaneously selects a card and a tile. The card indicates where the tile should be placed on the rotating board; the tile can then be used to create sequences of three pieces that match three client cards displayed at each ticket booth. When a player completes a sequence, they place a standing client token over each tile of the sequence, signaling that the tickets were sold, and receive the client cards as points. The game encourages both cooperation and competition, as tiles from other players can be used to complete sequences. Additionally, there are four end‑game objectives that award extra points to those who achieve them. The game ends when a player can no longer make a legal play or when the client deck runs out. The winner is the one with the most points from clients and objectives. Pattern building is evident when players align colored and shaped tiles to match client cards. Simultaneous action selection ensures no one waits for their turn, keeping the pace brisk. Tile placement demands spatial awareness, as the board rotates and positions change each round. Components include a 12‑space rotating board, 48 colored tiles, 12 carousel cards, 48 client cards, and standing client tokens. The aesthetic evokes an old amusement park, with vibrant colors and illustrative details that bring the setting to life. Carrossel blends simple rules with strategic depth, allowing players of all levels to experiment with positioning tactics and resource control. The game has a short learning curve but offers replayability thanks to the varied combinations of tiles and objectives that shift each play.
