What you do in a play session
This 2021 mini‑expansion will supercharge your Cartographers adventures by adding eight skill cards that you can use to gain advantages when drawing your maps. At the start of each season, shuffle the cards and lay three of them face‑up; the rest go back into the box. Each player may, once per season, pick one of the three visible cards and pay the coin cost to activate its effect. These skills combine with those from the original expansion, allowing richer strategies and tactical decisions about when to spend your coins. The expansion keeps the simplicity of the base game but adds a layer of depth that makes each game a little different. The theme remains in the World of Ulos, with its mystical landscapes and fantastical creatures, and the line‑drawing mechanic stays at the heart of the game. If you enjoy exploring territories, drawing routes, and using bonus cards to gain an edge, this expansion is a light and fun addition that fits into your Cartographers repertoire. Just remember that the cards aren’t translated, so if you prefer Portuguese you may need an English version or help with translation.
