About the game
What you do in a play session
In Casting Shadows, you dive into a dark and magical world where strategy and luck intertwine. For 2 to 4 players, the goal is to be the last one standing in a supernatural showdown. Each turn is divided into three phases: first, you roll dice to collect resources; then, spend action points to move across the hexagonal board, gather spells, or use special abilities; and finally, absorb shadow energy to transform into a more powerful form. The game combines elements of abstract strategy with an engaging fantasy theme, including mechanics like dice rolling, area movement, and player elimination. Get ready for an intense battle where every decision could be crucial for victory!
