How to Play Catapult Feud: The Royal Feast Expansion

Game Objective

Setup

To begin, each player takes a yellow base and attaches it to one of their troops. This troop becomes part of the Royal Family (or Royal Troop) and gains a special ability. Additionally, each player takes a Stinky Fish Action card and adds it to their deck.

Game Flow

During your Tactics Phase, you can perform the Royal Maneuver action. This is a free action and does not require an Action Card. If you are playing in Defend the Royalty Mode, also during your Tactics Phase, if your Royal Troop is not in play, you can take it from the box and place it in a new valid location.

Actions and How to Play

• Royal Maneuver: During your Tactics Phase, you can move your Royal Troop once to a valid location, following the Troop Placement Rules. This is a free action and does not require an Action Card.
• Stinky Fish: This is a bouncy and tricky ammunition. In addition to the damage it can deal to your opponent, wherever the Stinky Fish lands, it releases an unbearable stench. All troops within a distance of 2 from the Stinky Fish faint and are removed from the game.
Defend the Royalty Mode: For a more challenging game, during your Tactics Phase, if your Royal Troop is not in play, you can take it from the box and place it in a new valid location, following the Troop Placement Rules.

End of Game and Scoring

If you are playing in Defend the Royalty Mode, your Royal Troop must be the last troop to be removed for you to lose the game.

Tips to Win

• In Defend the Royalty Mode, prioritize protecting your Royal Troop, as it must be the last one removed to avoid defeat.
• Use the Royal Maneuver strategically to reposition your Royal Troop, taking advantage of it being a free action that doesn't consume an Action Card.
• The Stinky Fish ammunition is powerful for clearing areas, removing all troops within a distance of 2 from the impact point. Aim precisely to maximize its effect.
