Hey everyone! Ready to delve into the mountain for some treasure hunting? Caverna: Cave vs Cave – Era II – The Iron Age is that expansion that brings a fresh twist for those who already enjoy the original Caverna but want a more direct and focused two-player experience. Here, each player starts with a pair of dwarves and a tiny dwelling, tasked with expanding their space, digging as much as possible, and, of course, getting rich with precious metals. You have eight rounds to prove who rules the excavation! In this Iron Age, it's all about serious mining. Donkeys come into play to help haul the heavy ore, which you'll use to smelt iron and perhaps forge some weapons to ward off any unwelcome visitors. Oh, and your team has grown: you now have four primates ready to work hard! Keep collecting grains, fibers, and building materials to boost your wealth and your cave. It's a race against time and your opponent to see who builds the best and most prosperous underground home. If you enjoy worker placement and tile placement games with an economic and fantasy flair, this expansion will win you over. It's a quicker way to enjoy the Caverna universe, perfect for playing with that friend or partner who isn't afraid to get their hands dirty (or pickaxed!).
