About the game

What you do in a play session

Welcome to Championland, where the most promising athletes gather to prove who's the best! In Championland: Track & Field, you and your opponent will dive into the heart of track and field events, in a direct competition to see who dominates the tracks and fields. This is the first title in the Championland series, a Button Shy micro card game, designed for two players and featuring only 18 cards in total. Each player receives a 9-card deck numbered 1 to 9, which cannot be reordered in hand. The clever twist is that each card has multiple uses: it can be played as an athletic event or as an athlete to compete in that event. The big strategic catch is that you can only play the card at the very edge of your hand, either the first or the last. This means that hand management is crucial, and every decision matters, as you need to anticipate your opponent's moves and use your cards as efficiently as possible to win the events. Get ready for a quick, deduction-filled duel, where intelligence and tactics are as important as strength and speed!
