About the game
What you do in a play session
If you've already braved the dark depths of Claustrophobia and felt it needed an extra kick, get ready! Claustrophobia: De Profundis arrives to supercharge your experience with a shower of new content, without overcomplicating things. This expansion injects more components and strategic options, maintaining the core tactical combat that we love.
The package brings a brand-new deck of 52 cards, packed with fresh talents for the Brother Redeemer, more sinister demons, surprising events, and useful items. Additionally, you get ten new room tiles, including six brand-new types like the sanctified zone, the demon pit, and the tomb of the ancient warrior, ensuring every descent is unique. To top it off, there are four painted miniatures and extra markers, plus twelve new scenarios that can range from 30 to 90 minutes of pure tension. The rules receive some fine-tuning: the demon player's hand becomes more restricted (three cards), some Siccaria skills become permanent, and a new creature enters the fray to cause headaches.
De Profundis expands the Claustrophobia universe, offering more replayability and challenges for fans seeking new battles and strategies. It's the kind of expansion that renews interest in the base game, adding depth without burdening players with a pile of new rules. Perfect for those who enjoy the adrenaline of tactical combat and the dark atmosphere of the Claustrophobia universe.
