About the game
What you do in a play session
Colt Express: Bandits – Cheyenne is the sixth and boldest of the Bandits expansions, turning the classic train‑heist game into a showdown against the game itself. Each Bandits expansion introduces an AI‑controlled outlaw, creating a "bot" that competes with the players. The goal remains to be the richest bandit, but now you must stop the AI outlaw from winning, because if it does, everyone loses. Cheyenne swaps her pistol for a bow and poisoned arrows, adding two fresh twists: ranged shots that can poison opponents and a faster movement speed. When Cheyenne ends her move in a car occupied by other bandits, she steals a purse from each, further boosting her lead. Any bandit hit by a poisoned arrow must grab an antidote before the game ends; otherwise they are eliminated regardless of wealth. The expansion retains the Action Queue and Hand Management core mechanics of Colt Express, but adds a Memory element as players must remember where antidotes are and who has already been poisoned. The game stays quick (30‑60 minutes), easy to learn (weight 2/5), and supports 2‑5 players, yet now demands temporary cooperation against Cheyenne before each player returns to scheming their own loot. Components are the same as the base game – cards, money tokens, train board – plus new bow cards, poisoned arrows, and antidotes. If you love the tension of programming moves while trying to anticipate the bot's actions, Cheyenne brings extra drama and laughs, especially when someone scrambles for an antidote at the last second. In short, the expansion adds an intelligent antagonist, new attack options, and an extra risk that makes each round even more unpredictable and fun.
