About the game
What you do in a play session
Prepare for a historical twist with Battle Pack #6 – Sea Lion, the sixth themed expansion for the Combat Commander series! This time, we dive into a successful 'what if' scenario: the Axis invasion of Great Britain in 1940. With the Battle of Britain decided in favor of the Luftwaffe, the stage is set for intense combat in southern England.
This pack brings ten new scenarios covering everything from the initial landings to the fight for London's capture, including an early US entry into the war and the desperate British counter-offensive, Operation Tremor. Scenario cards introduce special rules for airdrops, prison breaks, British fascist uprisings, sniper attacks, partisan actions in German rear areas, and even alternative night rules for Opportunity Fire. The ten new maps detail iconic locations like Portsmouth, the River Medway, Trafalgar Square, and Holloway Prison, many personally visited by the designer, adding a touch of realism.
Sea Lion is for those who already enjoy the Combat Commander series and want more tactical action focused on World War II. It has high language dependency, so be prepared for a lot of translation. The question is: can you command your troops to crush the British spirit or rally the remaining forces to repel the invader and save Britain? Operation Sea Lion has begun!
