About the game
Combopolis is a combo pack that blends the best of Sprawlopolis and Agropolis into one cooperative city‑building and farming game. Instead of passing cards between players, each player shuffles their own deck, turns over one card from each to reveal two scoring conditions, and then draws a third card from the combo pack to set the final scoring rule. An additional card from the same pack serves as the starting tile, displaying two blocks from each terrain. During a turn, you draw one card from each deck, choose one to play and discard the other, keeping both decks at the same pace. When the decks run out, the game ends and players tally points for the largest block groups in each game, lose points for individual roads, and gain or lose points based on the three scoring‑condition cards. The layering mechanic allows cards to be stacked, creating cumulative effects, while tile placement keeps the focus on territory building. With just 15 minutes per game and 1‑4 players, Combopolis offers a quick yet strategic experience that combines urban planning fun with resource‑management challenges. It’s ideal for fans of cooperative board games where collaboration and planning are key, and for anyone familiar with Sprawlopolis or Agropolis who wants to try a new joint expansion approach.
