About the game
What you do in a play session
If you've already mastered the galaxies in Cosmic Frog and feel it's time to upgrade your strategy, the Devious Pack is here to shake things up. This expansion isn't a massive overhaul that rewrites the rulebook, but rather a surgical set of 12 cards that inject new possibilities and, as the name suggests, some pretty devious tricks into your games.
What's inside the box? The kit consists of six new Ability cards, which bring that extra spice to your character's capabilities, and five new Action cards, perfect for surprising your opponents with unexpected moves. To top it all off, there's a new Splinter Strike card, adding another layer of attack and tactics to the space combat.
The focus here is variety. By adding these cards to the deck, the possible combinations increase and predictability decreases, forcing players to adapt to new situations. It's the ideal type of expansion for those who have played the base game multiple times and want to feel that 'new possibilities' freshness without having to learn a complex system from scratch. Just shuffle the new cards in with the existing ones and get into the fight.
One important point for players: since the content is focused on effect cards, there is a moderate language dependency. If you aren't fluent in English, you might need to check community translation sheets to ensure you don't miss any details of the abilities. Overall, it's a compact but powerful supplement that makes the game more dynamic and, of course, much more treacherous.

Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers before you buy
Can I play the Devious Pack on its own?
No, it's an expansion. You absolutely need the Cosmic Frog base game to use these cards.
Does it make the game much more complex?
Not at all! The complexity remains the same. It simply adds more play options without changing the core rules.
How many cards are included in total?
There are 12 cards: 6 Ability cards, 5 Action cards, and 1 Splinter Strike card.
Do I need to know English to play?
Yes, there is a moderate language dependency due to the card text, though community translation sheets usually help.
Who do you recommend this expansion for?
For those who already enjoy Cosmic Frog and want to refresh the experience with new tactics without spending much time learning new rules.
