About the game

What you do in a play session

If you're into the vibe of Car Wars and want more road action, Crash City (originally known as Sunday Drivers) is your ticket! This supplement throws you back onto the hot asphalt, requiring the base Car Wars rules to get going. With it, you get a brand new 42x32 inch map of Midville street, ready for tons of action. Think police cars, the dreaded Ambunaught, cyclists, pedestrians, chains on the road, plainclothes police, and even MONDOs – all represented by 160 colorful and stylish counters, painted by Denis Loubet. There are two more 21x32 inch map sections to expand the battlefield and 24 pages of pure adrenaline with new rules and scenarios. The original game started as an article in The Space Gamer magazine and later came into its own as a Car Wars supplement, eventually renamed Crash City. It fits perfectly into the Car Wars series and Steve Jackson Games' Pocket Box line. Get ready to relive or create your own chases and confrontations in a post-apocalyptic sci-fi setting, where each dice roll can mean the difference between victory and being scrapped. It's a feast for those who enjoy games with scenarios, dice rolling, and that distinct flavor of vehicular warfare.
