This wargame is designed for two players, but also works great for solo play or in teams, ensuring flexibility for your table. Gameplay is semi-interactive: while one player activates a Division for their actions, the opponent can react to specific threats, adding a layer of tension and real-time tactical decisions. It's like a constant tug-of-war for initiative!

The setting throws you right into the 1944 scenario, with Lieutenant General Hodges leading the American First Army towards the fortified Westwall Line, south of Aachen. The goal? To break through the defenses, cross the Roer River, and perhaps even reach the Rhine River. Each hex on the map represents 1.2km of terrain, and each turn simulates a period of two to eight days, with combat units mostly being battalions. It's a scale that allows for good tactical detail without being overwhelming.

Inside the box, you'll find a detailed 22”x34” map, a rulebook, and a scenario booklet with rich historical notes, plus 360 extra-large counters, 160 of which are combat units.
