About the game
If you love cult battles and the dense atmosphere of the Lovecraftian universe, Cthulhu Wars: Great Old One Pack Four will leave you stunned. This pack brings three new Great Old Ones – Byatis, Nyogtha, and Tulzscha – that can be added to any Cthulhu Wars game, provided you’re the first to grab them. Each has a unique ability and its own spellbook, earned separately from your own. Byatis is the trap master, luring enemy cultists to their doom; Tulzscha subverts the Ritual track, flipping the course of play; and Nyogtha is the prisoner‑taking hunter, dragging them to his lair. The pack not only adds new characters but also introduces new rules for their powers and interaction with the Ritual track, raising tactical complexity. With 2‑4 players, 90‑120 minutes of play, and a 3/5 weight, it keeps the intense pace of the base game while adding an extra layer of strategy through action points, area movement, dice rolling, and variable player powers. If you already own the base, it’s time to bring these titans onto the board and let the horror take over your table.
