Ever wondered what it would be like to assemble your own elite squad from the DC Universe? In DC Forever, you take command of two iconic characters to build a powerful team, whether it's a group of righteous heroes or ambitious rogues. At its core, the game is a deck-builder, but with a twist: each character brings their own unique powers and starting cards, making the experience completely asymmetrical. As the game progresses, you recruit new allies and carefully choose which abilities to integrate into your strategy to dominate the battlefield.
Clashes take place in legendary settings, moving the action from the shadowy alleys of Gotham City to the mystical depths of Atlantis. Your objective shifts depending on which side you're on. If you're playing as the rogues, your focus is to execute a master plan by completing five schemes—or, if you prefer brute force, simply knocking out all the heroes so there's no one left to stand in your way. Heroes, on the other hand, must act fast: victory is achieved by capturing all the rogues or placing thirty citizens in sanctuary. Even if you can't stop every evil plot, keeping the population safe is enough to claim victory.
With 18 playable characters and hundreds of cards to choose from, the variability is immense. Every session requires adaptation, as the combination of powers and the choice of which cards to add to your deck drastically change the game dynamics. It's a fast-paced strategic experience with tactical depth, where resource management and synergy between your characters are the keys to glory. Prepare your deck, pick your champions, and show who truly rules the multiverse!
