About the game
What you do in a play session
Get ready for a night of pure terror and chaotic fun with Dead of Night! Inspired by the best (and worst) zombie films, this cooperative game puts you and your friends in the shoes of survivors trying to escape a walking apocalypse. Forget a villain controlling the undead; here, the threat is general, and everyone's in this together! Or are they? The temptation to use that friend as bait to grab the shotgun and lock yourself in the basement is real, but survival depends on teamwork... most of the time.
Each game is a new adventure, with scenarios that lead you to explore frightening locations in search of an objective, whether it's escaping in a fast car or simply holding out until dawn. But beware, as the night advances and things only get worse! Event cards can be your allies or your greatest enemies, and with each round, the zombie horde seems hungrier. Managing your action points is vital: will you spend them all to shoot or save a little to run? Strategy is key, and sometimes, a good old pipe or a chainsaw can solve the situation.
Dead of Night shines with its engaging theme and constant tension. The modular board ensures that each exploration is unique, and the simultaneous action selection adds that spice of uncertainty and fun. It's the kind of game that makes you scream, laugh, and maybe even betray your friends a little in the name of survival. If you enjoy zombies, horror movies with a touch of humor, and cooperative games that test your nerves, this is the right choice. Just don't say we didn't warn you when things get tough!
