Decorum is a cooperative hidden‑information game for 2‑4 players who must decorate a house in a way that pleases everyone, without ever fully revealing their own tastes. Each player draws a Scenario card that lists secret rules – such as "no room may contain a lamp" or "every room must have a wall hanging" – and then uses colored tokens representing furniture, décor items and paintings to fill the rooms. On a turn you may place, move or remove a token, and the other players can only answer with "Love it", "Hate it" or "Fine with it", without any explanation. This tight communication window forces deduction: you try to read your partner’s reactions to infer their hidden criteria while still satisfying your own. The board shows several rooms, each with slots for different items, and the game offers 30 unique scenarios, each adding fresh constraints and twists. The goal is to find the exact arrangement of objects that meets all secret rules before time runs out. While the underlying logic puzzle is straightforward, the real fun comes from the banter, the misunderstandings, and the moments of compromise when a player drops their initial plan to adapt to the other’s moves. Decorum blends deduction, negotiation and limited communication, delivering an experience that tests both puzzle‑solving and concise dialogue. It’s perfect for fans of light‑co‑op games that emphasize conversation and joint strategy, and for couples or friends who enjoy solving domestic design dilemmas without lengthy debates.
