Take Time is a cooperative game that puts everyone on the same page: you either win together or lose together. Each round revolves around a central clock where, in turns, you place 12 face‑down cards following very specific rules for each Test. The trick is choosing where to put each card without knowing exactly what lies beneath, using deduction and tight communication limits – you can only exchange information in restricted ways, which adds a fun tension. The game provides 40 different Tests, organized into scenarios that can be played as a campaign, so the experience evolves as you progress. Each Test has its own win conditions, making the session feel like a card puzzle, almost like assembling a jigsaw while trying not to run out of time. Components are simple – cards and a clock – but the graphic design showcases an Art Nouveau style that adds extra charm. A play‑through usually lasts 30‑40 minutes, perfect for short sessions, and supports 2‑4 players, making it suitable for couples, families, or a small group of friends. With a low complexity rating (1.8/5), the learning curve is quick, yet strategic depth emerges from the communication constraints and the need to deduce card contents. If you enjoy light cooperative games, themed puzzles, and a reasoning challenge with a hint of suspense, Take Time might be the perfect pick for your next game night.
