How to Play Deep Regrets: Lamentable Tentacles Mini-Expansion

Preparation (Setup)

Fish Setup

Shuffle all new Fish from the expansion with the Fish of the correct depth from the base game. During setup, deal only 13 Fish to each shoal, returning any leftovers to the box. To ensure all expansion Fish are included, randomly discard 6 Fish of each depth from the base game before shuffling in the new ones.

Biggest Regrets Setup

At the start of the game, deal a random Biggest Regret card to each player. Players tuck this card under the lower-left corner of their angler board, showing only the ability. At the start of each day, adjust the card’s visibility based on how many Regret cards the player has.

Actions and How to Play

Biggest Regret Abilities

Once per day, on their turn, a player can use the topmost visible ability on their Biggest Regret card. This does not count as an action.

Expansion Removal

To remove the expansion, find all cards with a tentacle icon in the bottom-left corner.
