About the game
Delicious: Community Garden Mini‑Expansion is that lightweight add‑on that fits into your card gardening kit and brings a splash of surprise for anyone who loves to grow veggies and fruits at the table. With just seven cards, the expansion delivers random bonuses that pop up whenever you manage to fill one of the illustrated containers on the board – whether it’s a pot, a bed, or even an entire row or column in the planter. Each card offers a reward that could, for example, ignore placement rules, transform a vegetable, fruit, or tool into something else, or plant an extra produce that wasn’t part of the plan. All of this is revealed at the moment you complete the action, keeping tension and fun high.

To set up, simply grab three pairs of cards – a total of six – and shuffle them with the rest of your deck. When the game starts, each player receives bonus cards that can be used on any turn, but only when the fill objective is met. The "Paper‑and‑Pencil" mechanic lets you quickly jot down the best combinations, while the "Simultaneous Action Selection" ensures everyone makes decisions at the same time, avoiding play conflicts. The expansion is perfect for solo games, as the variety of bonuses keeps the challenge constant, and it also works as a supplement for card games that already feature a gardening or cooking theme.

The card design is minimalist, with illustrations of vegetables and kitchen utensils that fit perfectly into the base game’s visual style. The set requires no additional components – everything you need is already on the cards. If you already own the main game, the expansion integrates seamlessly, offering new strategies and an extra layer of unpredictability. In short, Delicious: Community Garden Mini‑Expansion is a lightweight but impactful addition that turns every game into a richer, more fun gardening experience.
