About the game
What you do in a play session
If you’ve already been spooked by Delve’s underground caverns, the Delve: Necromancy expansion will raise the stakes even higher. Now you take on the role of a powerful necromancer, able to summon undead legions using the new Bone resource, earned from special rooms and undead‑themed events. The game keeps the paper‑and‑pencil map‑drawing mechanic but adds a new layer of strategy: each room you break can spawn skeletons, liches, bone golems, and even vampires to join your ranks. New rooms such as the Monastery, Crypt, Stitcher, and Vampire’s Nest offer recruitment opportunities and unique bonuses. You also encounter 13 fresh discoveries—from ancient burial sites to blood pools and bone wyverns—that can shift the course of your exploration. The expansion introduces six new monstrosity traits, each granting distinct advantages and drawbacks, and six new relic powers that let you manipulate the flow of battle. Area movement lets you strike multiple targets at once, while grid movement keeps tactical clarity. Although it’s a solo game, the complexity rises: you must plan each move, as every decision can turn the tide in your favor—or against you. If you love exploration, improvised map‑making, and a splash of supernatural horror, Delve: Necromancy is the missing expansion for your collection. Prepare to raise undead legions, uncover ancient secrets, and maybe even save—or doom—worlds from a zombie‑vampire apocalypse.
