About the game
What you do in a play session
If you love quick-fire-challenges that demand both tactical wit and adaptability, Soliloquy is your next-best-friend. This tiny expansion adds a layer of-solo-play-drama to Dionysia, pitting you against the legendary Thespis—the man who first stepped out of the chorus to claim the spotlight. Your mission? Outshine this-automated playwright and secure your theatrical legacy before the gods lose interest.
The setup is a breeze: play the core game as usual, but keep Thespis' 6-card-deck nearby. After every turn you take, Thespis acts, drafting cards that interfere with your-creative flow. He's not just a passive observer; he's actively trying to upstage you by drafting cards right next to yours. When-he-picks a key scene, you'll have to resolve cards from his deck, bringing unpredictable effects that can turn your grand tragedy into a-comedic-mess.
For the hardcore-solo-players, the difficulty scales beautifully. Higher-difficulty levels force you to deal with more-frequent-interference and even require you to subtract Thespis' scoring-effects from your own total. It's a tight,-tense-experience packed into a-micro-format. If you enjoy games where you-must-pivot-your-strategy-on-the-fly, Soliloquy delivers a high-stakes-theatrical-battle in the palm of your hand.
