About the game
What you do in a play session
Disney Villains: The Card Game turns the classic villains into a fast-paced, twisty card race. Each player starts with their own villain deck—cards numbered 1 to 6 in three colors—and builds a pile by playing cards that match the number or color of the top card of their own pile. The fun kicks in when the card you want to play also matches a neighbor’s discard pile; in that case you must play it there, forcing you to think twice before placing it on your own stack. If you have no valid play or don’t want to hand points to a neighbor, you can play a face‑down card, revealing a hero on the back; these heroes penalize you because each hero requires you to discard all matching numbered cards before scoring. When all cards are played, each player counts the heroes in their pile and discards the corresponding numbered cards, then sums the values of the remaining cards. The player with the most points wins. The game also features four special cards you can shuffle in beforehand: Maleficent (forces players with the largest pile to discard), Cruella de Ville (swaps the top card with another player), Ursula (decides whether top cards pass left or right), and Captain Hook (flips the top card type of all players). These effects add chaos and extra strategy, making every game unique. In just 15 to 25 minutes, the game delivers a blend of luck, hand‑management tactics, and Disney character humor—great for quick play and Disney fans alike.
