When you get close to a location with an enemy, you can attempt combat and secure the treasure it guards. Another die is dedicated to enemies; you can use it to increase their health or the damage they deal. Think carefully, as your enemies get stronger as the game progresses, and you need to balance this with how valuable the treasure you seek is. A third die is used to boost treasures, increasing the loot with useful items like swords and shields, but beware, as sometimes the path to riches brings traps. Finally, the fourth die serves to strengthen locations, which increases the available gold and the power of the enemy residing there.
