About the game
Get ready for some chaos, because in Double Donkey, everyone takes on the role of... well, a donkey! Now, being a donkey isn't necessarily bad, but the real nightmare is being the BIGGEST donkey of the round. The goal is straightforward: the first player to discard all 10 of their cards wins the game. But don't be fooled—you'll need a bit of cunning and timing to avoid being left holding the bag.

The gameplay unfolds in two quick phases. First, the Dice Phase. One player rolls six dice and sets one aside; the next player rolls the remaining dice and does the same, and so on until all six results are locked in. This is where the tension builds, as these numbers will determine the value of the cards in the next step.

Then comes the Card Phase, where things get hectic. All players simultaneously play one to three cards from their hand. The rule is simple: the colors of the dice correspond to the colors of the cards. If you play the card with the highest value based on the round's dice, congratulations: you are the 'Biggest Donkey'! The penalty? You can't discard your cards, while everyone else gets to draw new ones and move closer to victory. To spice things up, special cards like Double or Angry Donkeys allow you to add or change dice values, flipping the script at the last second.

It's the perfect kind of game for those looking for something light, loud, and full of twists. Being a Pocket Line game, it's highly portable and incredibly easy to learn, making it a great appetizer before a heavier game or a way to liven up a party anywhere. If you enjoy laughing at your friends' misfortune while desperately trying not to be the slowest one in the group, this is the game for you!
