Actions and How to Play
The game uses Power Cards that can be combined with the base game tracks and vice-versa. You can shuffle all power cards and randomly choose six, or place two power cards with each car in the auction. Players must still choose one power to play from all the powers they possess. Many power cards refer to "your car," but the power applies to all your cars if you have more than one.
Types of Power Cards:
- AMBITIOUS: Your car moves 2 additional spaces when it crosses a betting line, regardless of the effect that moved it. Move your car the additional spaces immediately after it moves, even if there are other cars on the card after yours.
- EXPERIENCED: A car is in a space directly in front of your car if at least part of the front edge of your space is shared by at least part of the back edge of the other car's space. Diagonal spaces do not count. Move your car to the first unoccupied space immediately after the other car leaves, even if there are other cars on the card. If more than one of your cars is in a space behind a car that moves, you choose which car moves to the empty space. This power is only triggered when the car in front of you starts its movement there. If a car overtakes you from behind and then leaves a space in front of you, the power is not triggered.
- RECKLESS: A "Tight Space" is when a car moves diagonally between two other cars that are diagonally adjacent. Move your car the additional spaces immediately after it moves, even if there are other cars on the card after yours.
- TOUGH: Rumble strips are red and white striped strips adjacent to some spaces. Only spaces that directly touch the strips are considered adjacent. Move your car the additional spaces immediately after it moves, even if there are other cars on the card after yours. If, after moving, your car is still adjacent to a rumble strip, you can move it again.
- BOLD: This power only applies to speed card movement and not any other power or effect. This power works even if you use a wild to move your car.
- DEFENSIVE: Move your car after all movement on the card has been resolved.
Track Features:
- CROSSTOWN SPEEDWAY: This track features two crossover loops and two split sections. Cars entering the loop must move through the intersection into the loop. They must complete the loop and then exit through the other side of the loop. Cars cannot move directly from the entrance to the exit by movement or with a power.
- SWITCHBACK PASS: This track features dangerous spaces. These spaces feature cracked pavement with debris and are too small to fit one of the cars.
- Dangerous spaces can only be used to overtake another car. You cannot move a car into a dangerous space if there is a regular space it could move to. (For example, you cannot move an opponent's car into a dangerous space just to make it move slower.)
- A car can never end its movement in a dangerous space. If you cannot get back to a regular space by the end of a car's movement (including any bonus movement it might get), you cannot move it into a dangerous space.
- You must move an opponent's car through dangerous spaces if it allows it to overtake another car it could not otherwise overtake.
- If you have the option to move into a dangerous space or a regular space, you must enter the regular space.

Tips for Winning
- When playing on Switchback Pass, use the dangerous spaces strategically to overtake opponents, but be aware that you cannot end your movement on them. Plan your moves to ensure you always finish in a regular space.
- If you have the AMBITIOUS power, try to cross the betting lines with your car to gain additional movement, regardless of how it moved. This can give you a significant advantage in the race.
- With the EXPERIENCED power, position your cars behind others to take advantage of empty spaces. Choose which of your cars moves into the empty space if more than one is in position, optimizing your progression on the track.
