About the game
What you do in a play session
In Dragonscroll, you're not a brave knight or a powerful wizard, but a young dragon ready to cause some serious mayhem! The goal is to become the most feared and famous dragon in the land, and to do that, you'll need to leave your epic mark. The game puts you in the claws of a dragonling exploring a world that unfolds with each turn, thanks to tile placement. These tiles can reveal anything from innocent villages and lost kingdoms (optimistically waiting for a lift, imagine that!) to classic foes like elves, dwarves, orcs, and arrogant wizards.
Your turn involves exploration, placing a new tile onto the map, and of course, unleashing fiery fury! You'll fly to a new location and use the dreaded Fireball Tower (affectionately nicknamed the 'Ball-ROG') to determine where your fiery assault lands. To give your actions a boost, you have double-sided bonus cards offering extra advantages. And if you're feeling peckish, gobbling up three creatures can increase the power of your fireball breath.
The main objective is to complete the tasks on your Dragonscroll cards, which act as quests to boost your renown. Each completed task adds a chapter to your story, and whoever has the most illustrious narrative at the end is crowned the ultimate dragon. It's a game with a humorous twist, where hand management, set collection, and a bit of luck with the fireball tower make all the difference. Get ready for a fantastic and hilarious adventure!
