About the game
What you do in a play session
If you've already cleared all the dungeons from the Starter Set or accidentally jumped straight to Volume Three, stop everything! Volume Two: Giant Beasts is here to fill that gap in your journey. The premise is simple: print it out, fold it up, and start questing. This volume delivers three main adventures centered around colossal creatures that will test every bit of your hero's luck and strategy. First, there's the 'Web of the Spider Queen,' where you must stop the arachnid sovereign from conquering the sunlit world above. Then comes the 'Tower of the Terrapin,' an infiltration mission to find a cure for a beloved mentor, forcing you to decide if the shady contacts from the City of Scoundrels can actually be trusted. Finally, 'The Lost Island' strands you in a survival scenario on a mapless island frozen in time. And because every good master loves a bonus, you also get 'The New Hill,' a side quest to discover what terrors are lurking beneath a massive mound of dirt in a farmer's field. Just remember one crucial detail: this is not a standalone game. To play, you absolutely need the core rulebook from Volume One (Starter Set). Without it, you'll have the missions but no way to know how to survive the monsters. It's the perfect dose of minimalist solo RPG for those who want the adrenaline of exploring the unknown without needing a full table of players.
