About the game

What you do in a play session

Brace yourselves for the bone-chilling cold of Alaska in Elder Sign: Omens of Ice! Twenty years after the Klondike Gold Rush, something sinister has awakened in the frozen lands. While most prospectors perished from the ice and hunger, some stirred ancient and terrible evils. Now, not even the city of Arkham is safe: the Miskatonic River has frozen over, and insatiable hunger plagues the populace. The Ancient Ones are at work, and this time, the fight won't be in the streets of Arkham, but in the wild and unforgiving heart of Alaska.

Omens of Ice throws you and your fellow investigators into a treacherous journey through frozen landscapes, facing not only bizarre creatures and wild beasts but also the hostile environment itself. Cold, starvation, and madness are constant enemies as you attempt to unravel the mysteries of three terrifying new Ancient Ones. At every step, whether traveling in summer or enduring the harsh winter, from the port of Anchorage to remote forest paths, danger lurks. This expansion introduces a modular board representing Alaska, new investigators, monsters, and the dreadful Ancient Ones you must stop before the world succumbs to a cosmic Ice Age. It's time to gear up and face the ice... if you dare!
