Electronic Catch Phrase is the turbo-charged version of the classic team guessing game, now with an electronic gadget that makes everything more chaotic (and fun!). Two teams face off in a race against time: one player must get their team to guess the word or phrase on the screen, but must pass the device to the opposing team before the timer beeps – and that's when the chaos begins! The adrenaline is guaranteed, especially in those final seconds when nobody wants to be left holding the 'hot potato'. The first team to score 7 points wins, but some versions allow stealing the opponent's phrase for an extra point. The big appeal of this edition? The electronic device brings massive word lists, an audible timer, and that party vibe only an electronic game can deliver. It's so good that in 2013, it became the franchise standard!

What's the average playtime?
Each round is quick (20 minutes max), but it's one of those 'just one more' games that can last hours.
Does it need batteries?
Yes! The electronic device is the heart of the game, so bring fresh batteries (usually AA) to keep the party going.
Is it kid-friendly?
Absolutely! Kids around 10+ can play just fine, and you can adapt with easier words for younger ones.
Is language dependence an issue?
The BR version has Portuguese words, but if you have the imported edition, check the language first.
Worth it if I own the original Catch Phrase?
The electronic device is a game-changer – more words, built-in timer, and way more chaos. Worth the upgrade!
