Element

In Element, you won't be conquering the world, but rather the power of the four elements to trap your opponent! The idea is simple: use stones representing fire, water, earth, and air to surround the opposing wizard in such a way that they can no longer move. At the start of each turn, dice are rolled that dictate which elements you can place on the board. Each element has its own tricks and special properties that can be used to block your rival's path or even to change one element for another. And keep in mind that your own wizard piece can also move around the board at any time, but only you control yours! The twist is that the element stones, those can be controlled by either player. It's an abstract game that requires strategic vision to plan your moves and anticipate the opponent's plays. If you enjoy a direct challenge, without much fuss, and like to think a few steps ahead, Element might be a great choice for that quick and intense two-player match.
