In Eternal Palace, you and your noble family are tasked with regaining the Emperor's favor by helping to rebuild his palace, abandoned for centuries. To achieve this, you'll send your team to gather resources and erect monuments, but don't forget to honor the sovereign by painting a beautiful scene of the gardens and the palace itself. The catch? Other nobles are also vying for the Emperor's attention, and only one will be chosen.
Here, your workers are dice! By placing them on the board, you contribute to the reconstruction of different areas of the Eternal Palace. Reaching each location depends on dice rolls, but if others are already there, you can join them by paying a fish – one of the game's essential resources. Whoever completes tasks first or invests more in the monuments earns tokens reflecting their overall effort. Recruit more workers (dice!) to your team and use the painting pieces received as each location is unlocked to record your progress, layer by layer. Will you be the most dedicated to the reconstruction and earn the title of the Emperor's favorite? Find out in this tense and highly interactive Eurogame!
With a medium weight and a playtime ranging from 60 to 90 minutes, Eternal Palace is ideal for 1 to 5 players who appreciate good strategy with a touch of luck. The game combines mechanics like Worker Placement with Dice Workers, Dice Rolling, Area Majority, and Open Drafting, creating a dynamic and engaging experience. The environmental theme, focused on the reconstruction and beautification of the palace, adds a special charm to the gameplay.

Who is Eternal Palace for?
It's a medium-weight Eurogame, perfect for those who enjoy strategy with dice, area control competition, and a bit of planning. It works well with 2 to 5 players and also includes a solo mode.
How long does a game typically last?
A game usually takes between 60 to 90 minutes, depending on the player count and how familiar everyone is with the rules.
Is the dice luck too high?
Dice are used as workers, so their value matters. There are ways to mitigate luck, like using resources to access locations or recruiting better workers, but the initial roll still has an impact.
What's the main way to score points?
You score points by contributing to monument reconstruction, completing specific tasks, possibly through secret or end-game objectives, and by collecting effort tokens.
Does the game have a lot of player interaction?
Yes, there's quite a bit of interaction! You compete for board spaces (area control), can use locations occupied by others by paying resources, and the race for objectives is direct.
Is it a complex game to learn?
It's considered medium-weight (2.76/5 on BGG). The basic rules are accessible, but mastering the strategies and the interplay between mechanics might take a few plays.
Are there any expansions available?
Currently, there are no official expansions released that add significant new mechanics or components to the base game.
