About the game
What you do in a play session
Get your bottle ready, because the Grand Fairy Perfume Contest has begun! In Fairy Perfume, you step into the role of a talented fairy striving to earn the title of Legendary Scentweaver. The atmosphere is pure festival vibes, filled with vibrant colors and a magical charm that pulls you in immediately. Your goal is straightforward yet tricky: collect the finest fragrance stones to create the most enchanting scent in the realm. But watch out—it's not all sunshine and petals!
The gameplay revolves around managing what you hold and what you put into your bottle. On each turn, you have two actions to boost your production. You can buy colorful gems to add special effects to your board, bottle those gems to prepare them for the big moment, or even discard something that isn't working for you. The heart of the game is the 'Shake the Bottle' action. This is where the real fun lies: it's a classic push-your-luck moment. If you manage to draw the right stones, like the high-scoring purple ones, you'll be soaring. But if you overdo it and exceed your limit, your perfume will end up smelling like unpleasant black coal, costing you precious points at the end.
The fragrance stones are incredibly diverse: yellow and blue ones bring in coins, green and white stones grant Fairy Points, and the red ones are pure mischief, potentially dumping coal on your neighbors! With double-sided player boards offering unique powers and varying objectives, no two contests are ever the same. It's a light, fast-paced, and visually delightful game, perfect for a 30-minute session with friends or as an easy entry point for families. Do you have the magical touch needed to win the contest?
